Everything’s coming together
It really feels like things are starting to sort themselves out. At the end of last week I was visited by Red Alert who work on behalf of Argenti who are responsible for providing me with any assistive technology that will make my daily life a little bit easier and safer. First we agreed on having a ‘Jelly button’ and also an Oysta phone, both of which will act as an emergency call out, the Jelly button is for use in the house and the Oysta phone has just one emergency button which allows for a call station to locate me and send out help. It’s for piece of mind and I hope I will never have to use them. Yesterday was really exciting as I was telephoned by my social worker and told she had found cover for my 12 hours of PA work a week and guess what it started today.
